Nanjing University of Science and Technology, referred to as "South Institute of Technology", is located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The school was founded in 1953 by the Military Engineering College of China People's Liberation Army. After the development stages of Artillery Engineering College, East China Engineering College and East China Engineering College, it was renamed Nanjing University of Science and Technology on 1993.
