Universities in Shanghai include: Shanghai Ocean University, Shanghai Dianji University, Shanghai Maritime University, Shanghai Jianqiao College, China-France College of Art and Design Management of Central Academy of Fine Arts, Shanghai Electric Power University, and China-UK International Low Carbon College of Shanghai Jiaotong University. Shanghai Ocean University:1June, 947, with the approval of the Shanghai municipal government, the school resumed its operation in Shanghai, and was named Shanghai Wusong Fisheries College, a junior college with Hou Chaohai as its principal. Wusong Fisheries College has four departments: fishing, manufacturing, aquaculture and navigation, and officially enrolled students in February 1948.
