Introduction of Zhejiang University:
Zhejiang University, referred to as "Zhejiang University", is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It ranks among the national "double first-class", "2 1 1 project" and "985 project". That is, Nine Schools Alliance (C9), China University Presidents Association and China University Presidents Association.
Members of International Applied Science and Technology Development Cooperation Network, International Alliance for New Engineering Education, Global Energy Internet University Alliance, CDIO Engineering Education Alliance and Medical "Double-Class" Construction Alliance were selected as members of Everest Plan, Strong Foundation Plan, 201Plan and1Plan.
China is the first batch of demonstration universities and independent auditing units for degree authorization to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education. It has trained outstanding alumni such as Li Suizhi, Hsin P. Soh and Li Zhengdao.
The school, formerly Qiushi College, was founded on 1897 and closed on 19 14. 1928 National Zhejiang University was newly established in the former site of Qiushi College. 1937 moved westward, running schools in Zunyi and Meitan, and 1946 moved back to Hangzhou in the autumn.
From 65438 to 0952, some departments of Zhejiang University were placed under the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other universities, and the main part was reorganized into several universities in Hangzhou, which later developed into the original Zhejiang University, Hangzhou University, Zhejiang Agricultural University and Zhejiang Medical University. 1998, four universities with the same roots merged to form the new Zhejiang University.
