Shandong University ranks first, China Ocean University ranks second, and China Youshi University ranks third.

1. Shandong University, located in Jinan, Shandong Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). Directly under the central government, it has set up a deputy ministerial level, ranking among the national "double first-class", "985 project" and "2 1 1 project".

Shandong University is the birthplace of modern higher education in China. The main body is Shandong University Hall founded by 190 1, which is the second national university founded by China after Shi Jing University Hall. Its medical discipline originated from 1864, which opened modern higher medical education in China.

2. China Ocean University, located in Qingdao, Shandong Province, is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), ranking among the national "Double First Class", "985 Project" and "21/Project".

The school was formerly a private Qingdao University, founded in 1924. 1930, National Qingdao University was established on the basis of provincial Shandong University and private Qingdao University. After the National Shandong University and Shandong University, the main body of Shandong University moved to Jinan in 1958, and in March/959, Shandong Ocean College was established on the basis of the departments of oceanography, fisheries, geology and biology.

1960 was identified by the state as one of the national 13 key comprehensive universities. 1988 was renamed Qingdao Ocean University. In 2002, it was renamed China Ocean University.
