Work experience of construction workers
Lead: The following is an article about the work experience of builders for your reference.

When I graduated in 2004, everyone was anxious to find a job, and I was no exception. Other ideas at that time were very simple, and I also asked the teacher whether to choose a design institute or a construction unit in the unit. The teacher clearly said it was a design institute, because it was not that difficult. But because I am young, I stubbornly believe that I should go to the construction site to exercise myself, so I started looking for a construction unit. The process is simple. Later, I found that their requirements for grades were very low. No matter how many courses you take at school, you can basically find a job. Only one thing is more important, and that is hard work. Later, it was discovered that the office building of the headquarters of a listed construction company was very imposing (dozens of high-rise buildings) and the recruitment site was also very imposing, but I was very distressed to miss the job fair. Unwilling, I ran to the resplendent office building to find their human resources department and had a smooth talk with their minister. Seeing a lot of resumes on the desk, I wondered how he could read them. Now I'm the only one talking to him face to face, and I can't help feeling proud. The minister read my resume and readily said that he would sign a contract with me. So I signed the contract very readily, and later the facts proved that my decision was not good, and I still hold it in my heart until now.

Imagination is always beautiful. It's really nice to be able to work in such an office building after graduation, but after talking to the minister, I realized that I work in the whole group company, and we all have to be assigned to work in various subsidiaries, and then I listed several branches to choose from. In fact, there is no choice. This branch is full, and that branch is not used for the time being. Later, I had to follow his advice and went to a local branch. I thought it was not far from the provincial capital, so I didn't care too much (now many enterprises come out to recruit people in the name of group companies, and the scene is very magnificent. In fact, most of them will go to the grassroots level of branches after entering, so don't be confused by appearances).

After graduation, I left my lovely school. Report within two days according to the requirements of the unit and go directly to the branch unit. I thought I should have a house to live in, but I didn't know until I went. There are not many people in such a large branch. They said they all went to the project (site). We were arranged to stay in the company's guest house. After the physical examination, we ate and drank for two days, paid a resettlement fee of 2,000 yuan, and signed an agreement (there was no salary clause in the agreement, but it was not lower than 800 yuan verbally, which was different from my original expectation of 2,000 yuan). But my stubbornness has always thought that now is not the time to talk about money), so I was assigned to a designated project (because each branch has more than a dozen projects in China), and combined with the situation, I was assigned to a expressway project in my hometown). After two days and one night's train ride, it took another four hours to get to a county-level city. Then a jeep was sent to pick up the three of us. Fortunately, the project is only in the suburbs, and the construction site is at the entrance of the project. The project was set up by the unit renting a local house, and there are not many people in the project team, about 26 people. Full of excitement, I finally achieved my goal. When I get off the bus, I care most about cigarette butts on the ground, because you can see a person's income level from cigarette butts. At school, I had a slight addiction to cigarettes. Although my family is not rich, I smoked 10 yuan or 12 yuan after my senior year. I met the director of the office, and then we settled down (we shared a room). I was arranged to live with an undergraduate who has graduated for two years. I deliberately looked at the cigarette butts on the ground. It was the Red River, which disappointed me. Honghe had only five yuan a pack of cigarettes at that time, so it is conceivable that their income level was not high. It turned out that my guess was correct. With some disappointment, the project leader cooked us a dinner in the evening (until the year of our graduation, there were not many college students in the construction unit, so it was also a festive day for our unit), and the food was very rich. Everyone in their twenties sat at three tables, and the manager invited us to dinner. Because of his youthful spirit, he drank hard to show his capacity for alcohol, expecting to be praised by the leaders. For me, who can't drink, it's really not easy to go to bed after that, so I won't mention their activities.

I got up early the next day, so I had to look like I was going to work. The chief engineer talked to us and asked us to go through three stages of practice during the probation period.

That is, it takes a year for an undergraduate to become an assistant engineer. Which three stages: investigation, site management and completion data. They all said that we should do a good job in construction, and measurement was the first pass, so I offered to follow the survey team to the construction site. Measurement work is relatively technical, but it is also very hard (in fact, compared with other technical departments, the salary is the lowest). Because I am from the countryside, I am not afraid of this. I thought it was impossible to ask me to carry a cement bag no matter how hard I tried, so I followed the survey team to do the preliminary survey work: clearing the platform, putting piles and measuring the area. It is difficult to get on the line before the initial road is formed. There are uncut trees, orchards, weeds, silt, mountains, depressions and so on. If there is no road, we must find a way out. At that time, it was very hot in July in the south, and there were many poisonous insects in orchards and trees. Once you climb up, your skin will rot, which is really uncomfortable. The ground is overgrown with weeds, and their legs are often cut and itchy. Fortunately, some medicines were distributed to everyone in the project, including wind oil and cool oil to prevent mosquito bites, and Huoxiang Zhengqi liquid to prevent heatstroke. Carrying a prism, running around in the hot sun, sometimes getting muddy (because the line runs through the farmland), the whole leg is stuck. Mud had flooded the rubber rain boots to the thigh, but Badou couldn't pull them out, and then he simply didn't want them. After landing, the secretary sent a Yuxi cigarette, which made him feel comforted (in retrospect, it is really naive). Although it is very hard, every day is very fulfilling. The head of the investigation team is an old professional divorced in his thirties, and the other two are also young people, so they are very happy to be with them. When measuring, I often pass by a kindergarten, where there are many young female teachers (there are few girls on the construction site, and the dogs are almost all male). They are always planning how to seduce others. It is really interesting to look back now. So I went to the front station for a month, and later I was asked to do observation, so it was not so hard. The coordinates of each line are controlled by several plane control points. Control points are generally located in fixed positions that are not easy to be moved by others, such as roofs and floors fixed with reinforced concrete. Observation is to measure a fixed plane coordinate point by observing the prism of the front station with a total station. Because of their initiative, they were praised by the group leader. They are very kind to me (because they know that people like me will become supervisors and their bosses sooner or later), and they feel very motivated and talented. I used the total station for a month, and then asked me to do the calculation. A survey team generally has three or four people, one is the front station (no culture is needed, as long as you have hands and feet, you don't need to think), one is to look at the total station, and the other is to calculate coordinates or elevations. I am a studious person, because it involves calculation, so I picked up the measurement book and read it several times. I took out my computer foundation at school, and wrote a coordinate calculation program and an elevation calculation program in EXCEL with VB (there are also related softwares in the market, which are often pirated, and the calculation accuracy is not enough, which greatly improves the speed of the investigation team to sort out industry data. At this point, they were impressed and thought that this was a college student. At that time, they were very proud, but I also asked for advice with an open mind. In this way, I engaged in a month's calculation, after three months of measurement, I have a comprehensive understanding of the measurement, I think it is not difficult. After that, they asked me to measure. My instructor thinks that I shouldn't take measurements anymore (now some college students just come out to take measurements, which is very bad for themselves. Measurement is not difficult, as long as they have experienced it. This is a low-paid, hard-working and unpromising position, so the chief engineer arranged for me to go to the site to take charge.
