On June 1, 202 1 1, Zhuhai police placed Zhao in administrative detention for three days. On 2021June 15, the police organized the parties involved to report the case. On 20021June 17, Sun Yat-sen University gave Zhao the punishment of expulsion from school according to Article 14, paragraph 4, of the Regulations on the Management of Students' Punishment in Sun Yat-sen University.
