1, with different contents:
Exams are generally the main courses, such as advanced mathematics, general physics, foreign languages and other basic courses in freshmen, basic courses in sophomores and professional courses in juniors. Generally, there are 4-5 exam courses per semester. Examination papers are required, and scores are registered by percentage.
Exams are mainly make-up classes or elective courses, such as physical education class in colleges and universities, some ideological and political courses, some public elective courses to expand knowledge and some professional elective courses with less class hours.
2. Different evaluation methods:
The examination course is a unified examination paper organized by the school and should be archived. A course in a university usually has three parts: peacetime+mid-term+final exam, and each part accounts for a certain proportion. Finally, whether the course passes or not depends on these parts comprehensively.
Examination course means that the course is not assessed in the form of examination paper within the specified time, and the examination can also be used for social investigation, learning experience and other forms. Test scores are generally graded. Exams usually require a paper.
3. Different degrees of concern:
Schools, teachers and students pay more attention to examination courses, which are usually tested. According to the differences between different majors and the same course exam, the exam shows that this course is more important to the major.
Examination shows that students only need to know some general knowledge, and the requirements of examination courses in general schools are not as strict as those in examination courses.
