Which majors in universities are more suitable for future civil service examinations?
1, major in computer science and technology

We usually refer to computer science and technology as computer specialty, which covers a wide range, including advanced engineering mathematics, probability theory and mathematical statistics, program design, data structure, software engineering, database system, compilation principle, algorithm design and analysis, etc.

Now is the information age, not only enterprises and institutions need a large number of computer professionals, so there are many positions of computer science and technology graduates in the national civil service examination and local civil service examination every year. However, graduates of this major are reluctant to apply for civil servants, especially some well-known universities. Computer graduates have been signed away by big companies before they leave school, so there is no need to consider taking the civil service exam.

2. Chinese language and literature major

Chinese language and literature major belongs to China language and literature major. Students in this major generally have good writing knowledge. They have great professional advantages in taking the civil service examination, and it is easier for them to get high marks in application writing.

If the graduates majoring in Chinese language and literature are admitted to civil servants, they will probably engage in writing, such as going to government agencies and government offices to write materials for leaders. This kind of work is hard, because some leaders have high requirements and some leaders' intentions are difficult to control, so civil servants who can do a good job in writing are very powerful roles. If they suffer, they will not only be recognized by the leaders, but also improve their writing level and reading ability, and they will be easily promoted and reused.

However, there are a large number of college students majoring in Chinese language and literature, and a considerable number of them will take the civil service examination, so the competition pressure is very great.

3. Law major

It is very simple for law students to enter the civil service system if they pass the judicial examination. They can apply to procuratorates, courts, government legal departments, public security departments, etc. And the chances of admission are high. In fact, not only the judicial department, but also some institutions and units that have little to do with the judiciary will recruit law graduates from time to time. This kind of recruitment usually does not require candidates to have "teacher research", but at the same time the competition is more intense.

It should be emphasized that just because law graduates are suitable for civil servants does not mean that law graduates can easily be admitted to civil servants. At present, there are too many colleges and universities offering law majors and too many graduates, and a large number of students flock to the public examination channel. Even though the relevant departments have arranged more civil service positions for law graduates, only a small number of graduates can pass the exam.

4. Accounting major

Accounting is a popular major in the national civil service examination. Every year, there will be a large number of positions in the national examination to recruit graduates of this major. This is because the civil servants recruited by the tax system are the "big heads" in the national examination, while accounting graduates are the "darlings" of the tax system. According to statistics, in the national examination in recent years, accounting graduates can basically apply for more than 3,000 positions, sometimes even more than 5,000.

Of course, not only the national examination, but also the local civil service examination and accounting graduates are very popular, and many local economic departments will recruit civil servants for this major. Generally speaking, whether it is the civil service examination or the recruitment examination of public institutions, accounting graduates are very popular.

Being admitted to the civil service as soon as you graduate has at least two advantages. The first reason is that the promotion and appointment of civil servants attach great importance to age. I just graduated and didn't get in, so I delayed for several years. When I got in, I lost my age advantage. The second reason is that once fresh graduates miss the opportunity to take the civil service examination, they can only take the civil service examination as former graduates in the future, and there are far fewer positions to apply for. In addition, taking the civil service exam while working will inevitably delay the preparation for the exam, and the chances of being admitted to the civil service will be greatly reduced.
