It is a world-class university construction university (Class A), a national "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project" key construction university, and a new engineering research and practice.

4. Zhejiang University, referred to as "Zhejiang University" for short, is a university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), a municipality directly under the Central Government, with a deputy ministerial level, "2 1 1 Project", "985 Project", "World-class University and First-class Discipline", Nine Universities Alliance (C9), Pacific Rim University Alliance and so on.

5. Shanghai Jiaotong University, referred to as "Shanghai Jiaotong University", located in Shanghai, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and the Central Government of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is one of the most famous and oldest institutions of higher learning in China, ranking as "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project".
