1958, the school was merged into Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences; 1963 started again and enrolled students the following year; 1966 to stop enrollment, 1972 to cancel enrollment; 1March, 979, with the approval of the State Council, the school resumed classes for the second time. In 2000, the school was placed under the management of Shanghai by the Ministry of Justice.
