There are many places in Binhai New Area, which can be roughly described as Tanggu and Dagang.

In Tanggu, there are Tianjin University of Science and Technology Binhai Campus, Development Zone Vocational and Technical College and Binhai Vocational and Technical College.

In Dagang, there are Binhai Campus and Binhai Foreign Affairs College of Tianjin Foreign Studies University, Binhai College of Nantah, Clinical Medical College of Tianjin Medical University, and Vocational and Technical College of Industry and Commerce, which are now called College of Land Resources and Housing Management, College of Textile Technology, Judge College and Petroleum College.
