The Key Laboratory of Plant Stress Biology of Henan University was established in 1990. Due to historical reasons, its running process was interrupted twice at 1950 and 1962. 1987, re-establish a new biology department. In April 2002, the school changed the Department of Biology to the College of Life Sciences.
