What does gpa mean?
The English full name of gpa is grade-point average. Simply put, it is the average score.

The average credit grade point is a calculation unit to measure the quantity and quality of students' learning. With certain credits and average credit grade point as the standard for graduation and degree, various educational specifications and flexible teaching management systems are implemented.

GPA scoring method:

There are four grading methods: arithmetic average, weighted average, credit grade point and average credit grade point.

Arithmetic average is to add up the scores of all subjects and divide them by the number of subjects; The weighted average score is the sum of the scores of each course multiplied by the corresponding credits of the subject, and then divided by the average of the total credits; The sum of the credits is the sum of the credits of each course multiplied by the corresponding credits; The average GPA is the sum of credits in each course multiplied by the corresponding GPA divided by the total credits, that is, the sum of credit GPA divided by the total credits.

Among the four grading methods, China mainly calculates the weighted average score of credits, while there are five-point system and four-point system abroad, and the average credit grade point is mainly used. The sum of the average credit grade point and the credit grade point has the same effect.
