Majors include public utilities management (health management), information management and information system (medical information), clinical medicine, medical imaging, stomatology, clinical medicine of Chinese and Western medicine, medical laboratory technology, preventive medicine (including special and rural independent enrollment), forensic medicine, nursing, nursing (English class) and pharmacy.

HUST Tongji Medical College is a secondary college affiliated to HUST. It is one of the first batch of pilot universities in China, and one of the first batch of colleges and universities medical schools established by the people of China, the Ministry of Education, the people of China and the Ministry of Health.

Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology was founded by Dr. Baolong, a German doctor, on 1907. 1927, renamed National Tongji University Medical College; 1950 merged with Wuhan university medical college and was named zhongnan Tongji medical college; 1955, renamed Wuhan Medical College.

1985, renamed Tongji medical university; In 2000, it merged with Huazhong University of Science and Technology to form Huazhong University of Science and Technology; In June 2000, Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology was established and listed.
