Guanghua University was a famous comprehensive private university in Shanghai during the Republic of China. It was founded on June 1925 by 572 teachers and students who dropped out of St. John's University, an American missionary school. Established 26 years ago, it has trained a large number of talents. At the peak, there were more than 1700 students, including more than 800 in universities and more than 900 in high schools. Before the adjustment of departments, the school had three departments of arts, science and business, and fourteen departments of Chinese, foreign languages, education, politics, law, mathematics, science, chemistry, biology, civil engineering, economy, business administration, accounting, banking and railway. 195 1 year 10.
