Xi University of Posts and Telecommunications (hereinafter referred to as Xiyou and Xi Posts and Telecommunications) is a university jointly established by People's Republic of China (PRC), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Shaanxi Provincial Government. It is a provincial-level university in Shaanxi Province, and the Ministry of Education implements the "Education and Training Plan for Outstanding Engineers".

Two achievements won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, and "Tiger Symbol TePA" became the first international standard submitted and adopted by China in the field of basic information security technology.
