1938 On April 2nd, the Ministry of Education issued a power generation order, renaming the National Changsha Temporary University as the National Southwest Associated University, with 26 departments in five colleges of arts, science, engineering, law, business and teachers' colleges, offering two specialized courses and one elective course. 1946 On May 4th, National Southwest Associated University held a graduation ceremony, which was announced on July 30th, March. Peking University, Tsinghua University and Nankai University moved back to their original sites, and the Teachers College was set up independently in Kunming, renamed as National Senyou Kunming Teachers College. 1984, Kunming Normal University was renamed Yunnan Normal University.
