Armed Police Engineering University is located in the site of Qin Afang Palace in an ancient city, formerly known as Armed Police Technical College. /kloc-0 was established with the approval of the State Council and the Central Military Commission in 1983./kloc-0 was renamed as the Armed Police Engineering College in September 1998, and was transformed into the Armed Police Engineering University in July 201. Mainly responsible for the academic education and on-the-job training of command engineering cadres of the Armed Police Force. This university is the earliest military academy established by the Armed Police Force, offering undergraduate and master's education, and has been identified as the key construction of the "2 1 10 Project" of the whole army. It has the most training levels, the most comprehensive disciplines, the largest training scale, the strongest school-running strength, the only right to award doctoral degrees, the only modern teaching pilot in the whole army, the only combination of command and technology, engineering and management, and the combination of teaching and scientific research. There are 1 postdoctoral research mobile station, 1 Institute of Equipment and Information Technology, 1 periodical editorial department, 2 first-class doctoral programs, 6 first-class master programs,1"Hopei" major and 3 "through train" majors.
