Central Academy of Fine Arts, referred to as "Central America", is located in Beijing. It is a higher art school directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), a national "double-class" construction university, selected as a national postgraduate project to build a high-level university, a scholarship receiving institution for foreign students in China, and the first batch of demonstration bases for studying in China by the Ministry of Education.

It is the only art college in southwest China, with the right to award master's degrees and doctoral degrees. The school is one of the 365 and 438+0 ordinary art colleges independently set up in China, one of the eight national fine arts colleges, a first-class discipline construction university in Chongqing, and a national demonstration university for deepening the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education.
