College students' medical insurance cannot be withheld, which will affect the reimbursement of medical expenses, as follows:

1, affecting hospitalization reimbursement. If you keep paying, as long as you meet the reimbursement standards, you can reimburse a certain percentage of medical expenses. If you stop paying, you will lose this right;

2. Buy medicine at your own expense. If you pay, you can use your security card to buy medicine at the pharmacy. If the payment is stopped, the security card will be invalid and you can only buy medicine at your own expense.

3. It will affect the subsequent payment of the new rural cooperative medical system. If it is paid every year, the new rural cooperative medical system will have a good record, but if it is paid intermittently, it will be more troublesome to renew the insurance in the later period, and relevant certificates may be needed. Handler:

(1) I apply for and voluntarily pay the cooperative medical fund;

(2) The village committee shall review and submit the fund-raising roster and fund-raising bills to the town management station;

(3) The Town Co-therapy Office shall review the co-therapy financing table and apply for a visa to the county co-therapy center;

(4) After verification by the county comprehensive handling center, the visa, stamp, login and confirmation shall be processed.

After verification in accordance with the provisions of Article 23 of this Law, the insurer shall, within three days from the date of verification, issue a notice of refusal to pay compensation or insurance benefits to the insured or beneficiary, and explain the reasons.

Article 25

If the insurer cannot determine the amount of compensation or payment of insurance benefits within 60 days from the date of receiving the request for compensation or payment of insurance benefits and relevant certificates and materials, it shall pay the amount that can be determined according to the existing certificates and materials in advance; After the insurer finally determines the amount of compensation or insurance payment, it shall pay the corresponding difference.
