Beijing Film Academy is an art college with film history and profound film culture accumulation. Its predecessor was the Academy of Performing Arts established in 1950. 195 1 moved and changed its name to the Film Academy of the Film Bureau of the Central Ministry of Culture, 1953 changed its name to Beijing Film Academy, and 1956 changed it to a four-year undergraduate college.
