Yunnan Technology and Business University is located in Songming Vocational Education New Town, Kunming City, Yunnan Province. It is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. The school's predecessor was einsun Institute of Science and Technology, which was founded in 1999. In 2004, with the approval of the Yunnan Provincial People's Government, einsun Software Vocational College in Yunnan was established, and einsun Software Vocational College in Yunnan was upgraded to Yunnan Industrial and Commercial College.
