History of Wenzhou University Library
The original library of Wenzhou Normal University was founded on June1956+10.65438, formerly known as the library of Wenzhou Normal University, and has gone through a tortuous course with the changes of the school. 1In August, 1994, a new museum donated by Sir Run Run Shaw, a famous Hong Kong person, was completed and put into use in September of the same year. The library has reasonable design and elegant environment, with 580,000 books, 600 reading rooms and lecture halls 170. After the opening of Wenzhou Higher Education Park Campus in September 2002, a temporary branch library was set up in Teaching Building No.2 for the convenience of teaching and scientific research, and it was interconnected with Xueyuan Road Campus through the network. After the merger of the two libraries, the South Campus Library was still named, and on June 9, 2006, the library name inscribed by Professor Su, honorary president of Wenda University, was moved to the boulder in front of the South Campus Library when the original library was completed on June 65438+October 9, 2006/KLOC-0. Today, Yu Ying Library has become the architectural symbol of higher education park.
