Free medical students in Lanzhou University are not allowed to take the postgraduate entrance examination within six years after graduation.

Lanzhou University has carried out five-year free medical orientation training for rural medical students majoring in clinical medicine. Rural order-oriented free medical students mainly recruit rural students, and under the same conditions, students in the county where the post-setting unit is located are given priority. Free medical students are required to take the national unified entrance examination for ordinary colleges and universities. Before obtaining the admission notice, free medical students must sign a free education agreement with the training school, sign a targeted employment agreement with the local county-level health administrative department, and promise to serve in the relevant primary medical and health institutions for 6 years after graduation. The household registration of free medical students remains in the original household registration during their study.
