Brief introduction of Dong Wang.
Dong Wang, a famous scholar and historical research expert. 1967 was born in Luoyang, Henan province; 1993 graduated from the Institute of Modern History of China Academy of Social Sciences with a doctorate; 1998 received a doctorate in history from the University of Kansas. The main research direction is the history of Sino-foreign relations, and a series of important research results have been achieved.

He was a professor of China history at Gordon University and director of the Institute of Oriental International Studies. He is currently Professor of China History and Director of East Asian Studies Center at Turku University in Finland. At the same time, he is the Dean of the Doctoral College of Contemporary Asian Studies in Finland, the Director of the Finnish National Asian Research Network, the Associate Research Fellow of Fei Zhengqing China Research Center of Harvard University, and the editorial board of the Journal of American-East Asian Relations.
