Different educational requirements
The first difference between university teachers and primary school teachers is usually reflected in the difference in academic qualifications. Under normal circumstances, I want to be a primary and secondary school teacher with a college degree or above. Of course, specific to different primary and secondary schools in different regions, this academic requirement will be different. For example, in first-tier cities such as Beishangguangshen and Shenzhen, some key primary and secondary schools may attract students from famous schools such as Peking University and Tsinghua. However, in most provinces and cities in China, college students can participate in the recruitment of primary and secondary school teachers. However, for most colleges and universities, it is often impossible to enter the profession of university teachers without a doctorate or above.
Different teaching requirements
The difference between university teachers and primary school teachers is also reflected in the different teaching contents and requirements. As a primary school teacher, I speak very carefully in teaching and almost lead the children to grow up step by step. However, in the university stage, the requirements for college students' autonomous learning ability are higher. Many times, university teachers just play the role of guides. Usually, primary school teachers' main task is teaching, while university teachers spend a large part of their energy on scientific research.
Different treatment and income
The biggest difference between university teachers and primary school teachers is reflected in the treatment income. Primary school teachers' main income comes from their own salary, and there is no extra income except salary. In contrast, college teachers are different. University teachers generally have two identities, one is teaching identity and the other is scientific research identity. The importance of the latter is that they can earn extra income by engaging in scientific research. Many university teachers' project fees are several times their own salaries. Primary school teachers can't earn extra money in extracurricular tutoring institutions, and university teachers can participate in lectures and evaluation activities and get corresponding remuneration.
Different social influences
Another difference between university teachers and primary school teachers is that their social influence is different. University teachers are people's teachers in the classroom, and they can make a sound in many places outside the classroom and become more influential scholars. The influence of primary school teachers is often reflected in the three-foot platform. When they walk out of the three-foot platform, they have little influence on public affairs and rarely openly oppose public affairs. Therefore, as university teachers, their influence is usually greater and more respected than that of primary school teachers.
