Beijing Union University is a comprehensive ordinary university in Beijing approved by the Ministry of Education (85)002 in June, 1985. Its predecessor was/kloc-0, a university branch established in Beijing key university in June, 1978.

1985 On March 6th, the Beijing Municipal People's Government issued a notice with Document No.38 (1985) to establish Beijing Union University. By the College of Arts and Sciences (formerly Peking University Branch), School of Economics and Management (formerly China Renmin University No.1 Branch), Law School (formerly China Renmin University No.2 Branch), Vocational and Technical Teachers College (formerly Beijing Normal University No.2 Branch) 1982 658 Foreign Language Teachers College (formerly Beijing Foreign Studies University Branch), Tourism College (formerly Beijing Foreign Studies University Branch) and Automation Engineering College (formerly Tsinghua University Branch). School of Electronic Engineering (formerly Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications), School of Mechanical Engineering (formerly Beijing University of Technology), School of Light Industry Engineering (formerly Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, 1982, 12, merged by Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, No.1 and No.2), School of Textile Engineering (formerly Beijing Institute of Technology), College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (China)

The colleges of Beijing Union University are still relatively independent entities, and their grades and treatment remain unchanged. Document No.38 of Beijing Municipal Government also decided to bring the School of Economics and Management of Beijing Vocational College and the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Beijing Vocational College into the unified and coordinated management of Beijing Union University. The School of Economics and Management of Beijing Vocational College is located in the School of Economics and Management of Beijing Union University; The School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Beijing Vocational College is located in the School of Automation Engineering of Beijing Union University. It is a junior college sponsored by these two colleges.

1985 In May, the Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly Beijing Institute of Chemical Technology Branch), the Institute of Electrified Railways (formerly North Jiaotong University Branch) and the Institute of Aerospace Engineering (formerly Beijing Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics No.3 Branch) successively joined Beijing Union University. This is the early fifteen branches of Beijing Union University.

1986 In September, the School of Light Industry Engineering of Beijing Union University was renamed the School of Building Materials Light Industry of Beijing Union University.

1989 12 16, the Institute of Electrified Railways of Beijing Union University was cancelled.

On August 24th, 1990, School of Economics and Management of Beijing Union University was merged into Beijing University of Technology.

1in June 1990, the Ministry of Aerospace Industry (Hang Jiao [1990] No.0751) decided to designate the School of Aerospace Engineering of Beijing Union University as Beijing Union University.

1In March, 1993, the Foreign Language Teachers College of Beijing Union University was merged into Capital Normal University.

1June, 1993, Beijing Higher Education Bureau (document No.039 of Beijing Higher Education [1993]) agreed to rename the School of International Language and Culture of Haidian University as the School of International Language and Culture of Beijing Union University.

1994 March 18, the archives department and the law and politics department of the College of Arts and Sciences of Beijing Union University merged, the College of Arts and Sciences of Beijing Union University was abolished, and the College of Applied Humanities of Beijing Union University was established.

1March 994 18, the law school of Beijing union university was renamed as the continuing education college of Beijing union university (Peking University cadre training center).

1994 March 18, the School of Automation Engineering and the School of Electronic Engineering of Beijing Union University merged to form the School of Electronic Automation Engineering of Beijing Union University.

On February 1 day, 2000, the Municipal Education Commission (J.J.J. [2000] No.006) agreed to establish the Advertising College of Beijing Union University (relying on industry cooperation, without legal person status).

From June 5438 to February 2000, the Municipal Education Commission (Beijing Education Supervision [2000] No.67) decided to merge the School of Mechanical Engineering of Beijing Union University into the campus of Beijing Union University.

200111On October 6th, with the approval of the Municipal Education Commission (Beijing Education Bureau [200 1] 1), the former Staff and Workers College of Beijing Chemical Industry Bureau was transferred to Beijing Union University and renamed as the Department of Adult Education of Beijing Union University.

2001February 12, the Municipal Education Commission (Beijing Education Commission [2001]1) decided to merge the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Beijing Union University into Capital Medical University.

In June, 20001,the Municipal Education Commission (J.J.J. [20065438+0] No.58) agreed to establish the School of Information Technology of Oriental University Town of Beijing Union University (now renamed the School of Information Technology).

In April 2002, the School of Information, the School of Applied Technology and the School of Mechanical Engineering of Beijing Union University were reorganized into four schools (Beijing Union University [2002] No.2).

In July 2002, the School of Chemical Engineering of Beijing Union University was renamed as the School of Biochemical Engineering of Beijing Union University (No.b[2002] 1 19 was established).

In February 2003, Beijing Union University Vocational and Technical Teachers College was renamed Beijing Union University Teachers College (Beijing Editorial Committee [2003] No.2).

In June, 2003, 165438+ 10, the Department of Adult Education of Beijing Union University was merged into the College of Continuing Education of Beijing Union University (Jinglian Jiaozi [2003]No. 100).

From June 5438 to February 2003, the Ministry of Education (Beijing Education [2003] No.7) approved Beijing Union University's pilot demonstration software vocational and technical college, and Beijing Union University Netcom Software Vocational and Technical College was formally established.

On May 19, 2004, the Municipal Education Commission (Beijing Education [2004] No.20) agreed to establish Pinggu College of Beijing Union University.

On March 9, 2005, the Municipal Education Commission (J.J. [2005] No.6) agreed to establish the International Exchange College of Beijing Union University.
