Your university is 120 years old this year! Since 1902 was founded, your school has a long history, not only in our "handed down from generation to generation" life days, but also in the unforgettable cultural relics and historical sites and cultural thoughts accumulated over the years.

1902, on the basis of Guishan Academy, the governor of Guizhou wrote a letter requesting the establishment of Guizhou University Hall. In fact, Guishan Academy was founded one hundred years before 1735, which shows that Da Gui has a rich history.

From 2002 to 39, the school changed many times, closed many times and changed its name many times. The difficulty is hard to say. 1905 the school sent 20 students to study in Japan in two batches, led by the school teacher Zhou Gongshou. After returning to China, these hopeful students made great contributions to the construction of the school and became the backbone of the early school. "Learning from foreigners to control foreigners", what foreign students see, hear, think and feel abroad, are all seeds sown to inspire Chinese people to strengthen themselves in the future. China's young people have never left Guizhou.
