Measures for the Administration of Exemption from Examination of Adult Education Courses in Hunan University
1. If students study some courses specified in the teaching plan, they can apply for exemption.

(1) Having passed the unified English examination for adult undergraduate education in Hunan Province or other provinces, with a score of 60 or above; Or students who have passed CET-4 or PETS-4 or passed the examination may apply for exemption from undergraduate English courses.

(2) Students who have graduated from English major colleges may apply for exemption from public English courses for non-English majors.

(3) Students who hold the first-class certificate of the National Computer Rank Examination or above or the certificate of passing the examination results of the basic computer application course obtained by the self-study examination for higher education may apply for exemption from the basic computer application course for non-computer majors.

(4) Computer graduates can apply for exemption from basic computer application courses for non-computer majors.

(5) Students who have passed the examinations of philosophy, political economy, Deng Xiaoping Theory and other single subjects in the self-study examination of higher education may apply for exemption from the public politics courses as stipulated in the undergraduate teaching plan.

(6) Students with bachelor's degree or above may apply for exemption from the public and professional basic courses that have been studied and are equivalent to the teaching content and hours stipulated in our school's teaching plan.

Students who apply for exemption from the basic professional courses of undergraduate courses must have a score of 70 or above in the original course, and must be certified by the student registration department of the national higher education enrollment unit approved by the Ministry of Education.

(7) Students who hold the examination transcripts of academic education courses issued by Hunan University may apply for exemption from the same courses at the same level as stipulated in the teaching plan, and record the original examination results on the graduate report.

Two, the number of students applying for exemption courses shall not exceed one-third of the total number of courses specified in the professional teaching plan.

Three, the use of false or forged certificates, proof of grades (transcripts) for the course exemption, once found, cancel the exemption qualification, and depending on the seriousness of the case, give a demerit (including a demerit) or above.

Four, the courses that have been approved for exemption (except the seventh paragraph of Article 11) are generally recorded in the score column of the graduate report.

5. To apply for course exemption, you need to submit a written application to your correspondence station within four weeks after the start of each semester, and at the same time provide the original and photocopy of the corresponding graduation certificate and transcript or achievement certificate, and report it to the College of Distance and Continuing Education for approval.
