The Graduate School of Fudan University was established on June 6th, 1984, 165438, and the Graduate School of Shanghai Medical University was established on1October 25th, 1985, all of which were among the first 22 graduate schools established in China after the post-graduate education system was restored. In April 2000, Fudan University merged with Shanghai Medical University to form a new Fudan University, and the graduate school was also merged into the new Fudan University graduate school, thus forming a comprehensive postgraduate training pattern with complete disciplines such as literature, history, philosophy, economics, engineering, medicine and management.
At present, the school has 29 directly affiliated departments, including China Language and Literature Department, Philosophy Department, History Department, Heritage and Museum Department, Foreign Language and Literature College, Law School, International Relations and Public Affairs College and Journalism College. , with 70 undergraduate majors, 24 first-class disciplines and doctoral degree authorization points, 153 doctoral degree authorization disciplines and professional points (including 29 self-established and 65,500 professional degrees).
The school has a team of high-level teachers. Among more than 2,400 teachers, there are more than 65,438 professors and associate professors. There are nearly 1 10,000 on-the-job doctoral supervisors in the school, including 3 1 person from China Academy of Sciences and 9 from China Academy of Engineering.
