Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology is a high-level university of science and engineering in Guangdong Province. It is a public undergraduate college founded by Guangdong Provincial People's Government, China Petrochemical Group, China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group and China Offshore Oil Corporation. It is the only petrochemical university with characteristics in South China, the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program" of the Ministry of Education, and the first batch of pilot universities for the transformation of ordinary undergraduate courses in Guangdong Province.
