Jinzhou Medical University was born during the Liberation War, and its predecessor was 1946 Liaoji Military Region Health School, which was established in taonan city, Jilin Province. 1949 moved to Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, and Jinzhou Medical College was established on 1958. It was renamed Liaoning Medical College in 2006 and Jinzhou Medical University on 20 16. After 76 years' development, it has become a provincial-level general institution of higher learning, which focuses on medicine and runs schools in various categories, levels and forms.
