Before the reform in 2005, the perfect score was 100, and 60 was the passing line. The examination was reformed in 2005:

Revise and organize the examination chapters; Pay more attention to listening and speaking;

Newly added "fast reading" and "translation" sections;

New scoring system: the score measurement is curve, with the highest score of 7 10 and the lowest score of 290 (all the answers are wrong);

Cancel the passing line and certificate system and change it to report card system. Candidates with more than 290 points can receive the "Report Card".
