Liaocheng University, referred to as "Chat Big". Located in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, a national historical and cultural city with the reputation of "Jiangbei Watertown and Ancient Capital of Canal", it is a key comprehensive university in Shandong Province. The history of the school can be traced back to 1902, Shandong University Teachers College.
1970 Shandong teachers college moved to Liaocheng, 1974 most departments moved back to Jinan.
