The School of Automotive Engineering of Jilin University (formerly the Department of Automotive Engineering of Jilin University of Technology) was established in 1955, which was formed by the overall relocation of the former Jiaotong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Shandong University of Technology. Over the past 50 years, it has trained a large number of technical and management talents for China automobile industry, and has the advantages of domestic leading research and technology accumulation in many disciplines such as vehicle and chassis design, automobile parts manufacturing, hybrid vehicle design theory and control technology.
