Xiaoyi Campus of Taiyuan University of Technology mainly refers to College of Modern Science and Technology of Taiyuan University of Technology. College is an independent college jointly organized by Taiyuan University of Technology, the only national "2 1 1 Project" with a century-old cultural heritage, and China Coal Museum, the only national coal industry museum in China. It is an ordinary university with undergraduate education approved by the Ministry of Education and the Shanxi Provincial People's Government. The first enrollment in August was 200 1. In 2003, the Ministry of Education announced the first batch of independent colleges.
