How do universities change their majors?
According to the relevant provisions of the Measures for the Administration of Student Status in Full-time Colleges and Universities, students who meet the following conditions can change majors in colleges and universities:

What are the requirements for changing majors in universities?

Students do have expertise, I apply, recommended by my department (major) and confirmed by the examination of the transferred department (major), and the transferred department (major) can give full play to its expertise;

Need to transfer to other colleges and universities, recommended by the transfer school, confirmed by the transfer school examination, you can play a special role.

One of the following circumstances, will not be considered to change major, transfer:

(1) freshmen who have been enrolled for less than one semester;

(2) transferring from ordinary universities to key universities;

(3) those who are promoted to undergraduate courses;

(4) Above the third year of undergraduate course or above the second year of junior college;

(5) Normal colleges (except those that the school thinks are not suitable for learning teachers) are transferred to other colleges;

(6) Without justifiable reasons.

The procedures for students to apply for major change and transfer shall be handled in the following ways:

(1) Students who want to transfer to a department (major) within our school must be proposed by the department head, recommended by the department (major) and approved by the academic affairs office of the school;

(II) Students who transfer within the scope of this province (city, autonomous region) shall be recommended by the transferred school, carefully studied by the transferred school, examined and approved, and sent a notice to the transferred school, copied to the local public security and food departments, and reported to the competent higher education department of this province (city, autonomous region) for the record;

(3) Transfer across provinces (cities, autonomous regions) shall be recommended by the transfer school, approved by the higher education department of the province (city, autonomous region) where the school is located, and a letter shall be sent to contact the proposed transfer school. After transferring to a school, it shall be reported to the higher authorities in the province (city, autonomous region) where the school is located for approval, and a notice shall be issued to the higher authorities in the province (city, autonomous region) and the school before the students can go through the formalities according to the regulations;

(4) Students' major change and transfer procedures should generally be handled before the start of each academic year.
