With the approval of the Ministry of Education, Xi Jiaotong University began to recruit students from 1985. Its purpose is to select teenagers with extraordinary intelligence, all-round development of morality, intelligence, physique and beauty, and excellent comprehensive quality, and to implement an innovative talent training model combining innovative education with quality education.

I. Training objectives

Cultivate outstanding talents with extensive and profound knowledge, good ideological and moral character and innovative spirit, who can rank among the world-class scientific research and innovation in the future.

Second, cultivate characteristics.

1, "Preparatory-Undergraduate-Master" through training. Among them, the preparatory course is two years (in the first year, I entrusted the middle school affiliated to Xi Jiaotong University, Suzhou Middle School in Jiangsu Province, Nankai Middle School in Tianjin, and Hangzhou Senior High School in Zhejiang Province, and I started training in the university in the second year).

Undergraduate course is four years, and master's degree is two years. The training mode of "preparatory course+basic general education+wide-caliber specialty+innovative ability" is implemented. Entering the undergraduate stage, the major selection will be mainly oriented to basic disciplines, emerging interdisciplinary disciplines and advantageous engineering and other related majors.

2. Teach students in accordance with their aptitude and develop in an all-round way. According to the educational concept of "personality cultivation, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, keeping their feet on the ground and looking up at the starry sky", and aiming at the characteristics of supernormal teenagers, we should adopt the training methods of coordinated development of body and mind, coordinated development of intelligence and non-intelligence factors, and coordinated development of knowledge and ability, build a solid foundation of mathematics, strengthen the cultivation of practical and innovative ability, and cultivate high-end talents with innovative spirit and good scientific literacy.

Third, the characteristics of enrollment

1, independent proposition. The school entrusts a third-party proposition.

2. Self-enrollment. According to the comprehensive evaluation system of "interest, excellent academic performance, mental health and physical quality", according to the enrollment selection scheme of our school's juvenile class, we will enroll students on the basis of merit and enroll students independently.

3. One exam is free of three. Students who are selected into the "Junior Class" of our school can be directly admitted into the "Junior Class" of our school without the senior high school entrance examination; Those who pass the college entrance examination during the preparatory period can enter our school directly without taking the college entrance examination, and choose university majors according to their academic performance and comprehensive evaluation during the preparatory period.

Those who meet the requirements and conditions of the relevant management regulations of the school during their undergraduate study can be directly sent to our school to study for a master's degree (or a long-term doctoral student) without taking the postgraduate entrance examination. Four. Registration and qualification examination

1, enrollment area: nationwide enrollment.

2. Enrollment target: fresh junior high school graduates born after September 2007 1 with extraordinary intelligence, all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetics and labor, and healthy body and mind.

3. Number of students enrolled: about 200.

4. Registration time: 65438+February 2022 16—65438+20231October 5 (online registration).

5, registration and qualification procedures:

(1) The enrollment unit is a middle school or a commissioned city, and social and intermediary registration is not accepted.

(2) The middle school is responsible for generating the list of recommended students, reviewing students' household registration information and junior high school enrollment materials, and publicizing the list of recommended students and related materials in the middle school for one week, including name, date of birth, household registration, entrance, ranking of previous final exams, etc.

(3) The registration unit is responsible for registering accounts (existing accounts can be used) in the undergraduate enrollment network and online registration module of Xi Jiaotong University, collecting relevant information and digital photos of students according to regulations, and organizing students to register online in a unified way. I don't accept paper application materials.

(4) Our school will organize experts to review the application materials, and those who pass the examination will be qualified for the separate entrance examination for junior classes in our school. At that time, the list will be published on our undergraduate enrollment website.

(5) The applicant shall pay the registration fee and print the admission ticket online according to the tips of our undergraduate enrollment network.
