What's the grade point?
The United States usually uses a four-point system to calculate grades, which is the GPA commonly used in universities, where A stands for a grade point of 4.0, that is, more than 90 points; B stands for grade point 3.0, that is, 80-90 points; C stands for grade point 2.0, that is, 70-80 points; D stands for GPA 1.0, that is, 60-70 points; F stands for GPA of 0.0, that is, below 60, that is, failing.

There are no strict conversion standards for ABC scoring system in the United States and percentile system in China. The two sets mentioned above are used by many people. At present, many universities in China also use GPA to assess students' total scores. The calculation method is as follows:

Course credit GPA = course credit × course credit

Average credit grade point = total credit grade point/total credit.

Extended data

Four-point assessment is to distinguish students' academic ability to the greatest extent without some accidental factors.

The average grade point average (GPA) is calculated by converting scores into grade points and then using the credit weighted average method. If it is above 90, it is 4 points; If it is 80 to 90, it is 3 points; If it is 70 to 80, it is 2 points; If it is 60 to 70, it is 1 minute; If it's below 60, it's 0. Generally, an average GPA above 3.7 is excellent, around 3.5 is good, around 2.5 is medium, and 1 is qualified.

Average credit grade point = ∑ (course credit × grade point)/∑ course credit = sum of all course credit grade points/sum of all course academic achievements.
