CurtinUniversity, referred to as Curtin, is a public comprehensive research university located in Perth, the capital of Western Australia, Australia. It is a member of Australian University of Science and Technology Alliance, China-Australia University of Science and Technology Alliance and association of commonwealth universities.

The school was established in 1900 Perth Institute of Technology. 1966 was renamed as Western Australia Institute of Science and Technology; 1986 was named Curtin University of Science and Technology, which is the first university of science and technology in Australia and the third university in Western Australia.
