Relying on Tongji's academic advantages for a hundred years, according to the characteristics and needs of the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, Chifeng Road Incubation Base, Guo Kang Road Entrepreneurship Base, Anting Automobile R&D Base and Nanhui Industrial Base have been established, forming a good development trend of one park and multiple bases. Tongji University National University Science Park is an excellent national university park, with more than 700 registered enterprises, 56 incubating enterprises, 6 graduated enterprises and 8 R&D institutions. In 2003, Tongji Science Park earned more than 2 billion yuan in sales revenue, 200 million yuan in profits and 50 million yuan in taxes, creating thousands of jobs. After years of construction and development, Tongji Science Park has built a large number of high-tech backbone enterprises such as Tongji Technology, Tongji Environmental Protection, Tongji Tong Jie, Ketou Tongji, Xinhao Microelectronics, Fuel Cell and Tongji Qixing.
