Jilin University of Finance and Economics is a university and a key university in Jilin Province. The school started with 1946 training course for bank cadres held by Northeast Bank Head Office, and experienced several historical periods, such as Northeast Bank Cadre School, Northeast Bank Specialized School, Changchun Bank School, Jilin Finance and Trade College and Jilin Finance and Trade School. In May 1978, Jilin Finance and Trade College was restored; in May 1992, it was renamed Changchun Taxation College; in May, it was 2065438+.
The school was once the first financial institution of higher learning founded in New China, one of the earlier ordinary undergraduate financial institutions in China, and the first tax undergraduate university in China.
In 2005, the whole school moved to Jingyuetan, which is known as "the largest plantation in Asia". The campus covers an area of 6,543,800 square meters. Campus construction is based on the concept of "natural, elegant, heavy and broad", and has completed a construction area of more than 300,000 square meters.
