Why is Yang Di a traitor to Guanlong Group?
Yang Guang is the second son of Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty. How can he take the crown of his brother Yong Yang and ascend to the throne? Why did the emperor rely on southerners instead of Guanlong Group, which started from the northerner Yang, after he proclaimed himself emperor, which intensified the contradiction between ministers in the Northern and Southern Dynasties, caused internal division and accelerated the demise of the Sui Dynasty?

To answer this series of questions, we can only discuss it from the internal contradictions of the ruling group in the Sui Dynasty.

First, please flatter your parents to seize the throne. Yang Guanggong is good at being pretentious. In view of his brother Yong Yang's weakness, he did the opposite, in order to vote for his parents' interests and win their hearts; At the same time, secretly making friends and plotting to seize the position.

Yong Yang is the eldest son of Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty. After Emperor Wendi proclaimed himself emperor, he made him a prince and let him participate in all major events. Expressing opinions when there are problems with the law is very popular with Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty.

Yong Yang is studious, good at diction, generous, kind and frank, but willful and ostentatious. Emperor Wen was still thrifty and opposed luxury, so he was very dissatisfied and said, "How can you be so extravagant if you want to rule the world for a long time?" For example, when Baiguan came to Korea, Yang Yong was congratulated for setting up music. Emperor Wen was disgusted and thought it was a "breach of etiquette", so his favor gradually declined.

Yang Yong loves her concubine Zhao Yun more than anything else. She doesn't like Yuan Fei, the first wife chosen by Queen Dugu for him. Yuan Fei died two days after a heart attack. Queen Dugu suspected that the death was harmed by Yong, so she was severely reprimanded. Yang guang knows that father and mother don't like the prince, but the number of concubines is only with Hou Yaozong; Every time I come to North Korea, my entourage is frugal: I receive courtiers with great courtesy. In this way, he was not only favored by his parents, but also praised by ministers, and his "good reputation" spread all over the world.

Yang Guang also let Su Yang and others praise Yang Guang in front of Wendi, saying that Wendi and Queen Dugu gradually had the intention of abolishing the prince. On one occasion, Wendi sent Su Yang to visit the Prince, went to the East Palace, and deliberately stopped outside the door for a long time, so that the Prince could stay for a long time to annoy him. The prince hates his guts and says it on his face. Sue also told Wendi that she was brave and resentful, and was afraid that he would change his mind, so she should take strict precautions against him. Wendi listened to Su's slanderers and became more suspicious of the Prince.

Yang guang's other henchmen also plotted to destroy the prince one after another, so Emperor Wen believed that the prince would harm him and regarded him as an "enemy". At this time, Yang Guang's confidant made Yuan Chong think that the time was ripe, so he said to Wendi on the pretext of astronomical phenomena: "I look at astronomy, but the crown prince should be abolished."

Emperor Wen believed it, so he wrote a letter to abolish the prince, imprisoned him in the East Palace, and handed it over to the newly established prince Yang Guang. Emperor Wendi was ill, and let the prince take charge of medicine in Renshou Palace, but he "raped the palace altar". When Emperor Wen knew this, he propped himself up and said, "I've ruined my son!" Because send someone to call Yong Yang. Before sending envoys, Wendi suddenly died and Yang Guang succeeded to the throne. He immediately wrote a false imperial edict, giving Yong Yang the death penalty. Later, he was named Fang Ling Wang (see Yang Yongchuan Sui Shu Fang Ling Wang).

The so-called "rape palace" is specifically revealed in the biography of Mrs. Chen in the Book of Jin:

Mrs. Chen and Crown Prince Yang Guang waited on Wendi Deng in the evening, and Mrs. Dunn went out to change clothes. Seeing that Mrs. Chen was kind-hearted, Yang Guang followed her and drove her into a beast. She refused and fled to Wendi Deng's bedroom. When Wendy found that he looked different, he asked her why. The lady sobbed and said, "The prince is rude".

Emperor Wen was furious, saying, "Why should animals pay a lot of money? Queen Dugu misses me! " Because the Ministry of War is still engaged in Liu Shu, Huang Men Assistant Minister Yan Yuan said; "Call me son!" When someone said they were going to call the prince, Wendi Deng said, "It's Yong Yang." With that, Yan went out and wrote a letter for Zuo's servant to shoot. Sue told the prince about it, and the prince immediately called Zhang Heng into the bedroom and told his wife and the harem people to go to another room.

Soon, Wendi died. At this time, the lady looked at the harem and said, "Something's wrong!" Everyone turned pale and trembled with fear.

Who is Zhang Heng? What role did he play in the process of seizing the palace? It is clearly recorded in the Book of Jin Zhang Hengchuan that most of Yang Guang's plot to usurp the throne was planned by Zhang Heng. After Yang Guang succeeded to the throne, he was particularly favored by him, so he was quite extravagant and dissipated. Later, he offended Yang Guang and was sentenced to death. When he died, he shouted, "How can I hope to live long after doing that for people?" This means that Yang Guang killed his father Deng Wendi, which reveals the truth of Deng Wendi's sudden death.

Yang Guangwei is cruel, vicious and dissolute. But before he succeeded to the throne, he pretended to be "perfect". How frugal! How filial! How humble! He not only cheated the civil and military officials in the Qing Dynasty, but also stole his high reputation. Even his parents thought he was the most ideal heir. As the saying goes, "knowing a son is like a father." Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty was a wise monarch with foresight and achievements in history. Not only did he not know his eldest son, Yong Yang, but also his second son, Yang Guang, and he deceived him by treating good people as bad people and bad people as good people. It's not easy to look at people and choose people!

The reason why Emperor Wendi didn't know his son was because he looked at people not from the big and small festivals, but from the small festivals of life. He advocates frugality, which is a rare virtue for an ancient emperor, but judging people without considering others will go to extremes and be one-sided.

Yong Yang is "willful". He keeps more pets, likes fragrant banquets and pays attention to ostentation and extravagance, even the famous emperors in history are no exception. However, Yang Yong has many advantages, especially when he participates in state affairs. He did a good job, that is, he dared to put forward corrective opinions on Wendi's wrong claims. For example, Wendi Deng wanted to immigrate to the real border. He wrote to stop it and avoid wasting people and money.

For festivals in Yong Yang, Wendi Deng can't see it. For Yang Guang, he only saw his surface, but he couldn't see through his essence, which made him pretentious. When he realized that he had seen through the man, it was too late. Because Yang Guang was afraid that his deception would be exposed, he closely monitored and controlled his father Wendi after becoming a prince. Once he knew his true colors were seen through by Wendi Deng, he took the lead.

Second, after patricide and younger brother Tu succeeded to the throne, in order to consolidate bloody rule, they adopted a personnel policy of excluding dissidents and cultivating confidants. The former ministers of the first emperor and the officials who supported the former prince were rejected and slaughtered, while a large number of ministers of the Southern Dynasties who had devoted themselves to Chen were reused, which led to the opposition and struggle between the ministers of the Northern and Southern Dynasties within the ruling group.

First of all, I started by supporting the former emperors and ministers of Yong Yang. Gao Ying was the founding hero of the Sui Dynasty. He was the backbone of the opposition to the abolition of the Prince, and Emperor Yang executed him on the charge of "slandering state affairs". He Rebi is a hero of Chen Ping, and Emperor Yang killed him on the pretext that he talked privately about his luxury. Xue Ruoheng was brilliant and highly valued by people at that time, and Yang Di succeeded him. He appeared in Ode to Emperor Gaozu Wendi, which made him "unhappy" and was quickly killed by Yang Di.

Shangshu of the Ministry of Rites is famous for his talent, because he said to Gao Ying, "Tianyuan died in the past because of his good manners. Isn't it worse than this? " Killed by Emperor Yang-ti.

Even the Crown Prince Yang Di, who made great contributions to him, had outstanding military achievements because Su Yang was the first emperor's etiquette. He respects him on the surface, but he is very suspicious inside. Su Yang was ill, and Emperor Yang Di sent a famous doctor to diagnose him, and prescribed the above-mentioned medicine for him, so as to explore his illness and fear that he would not die. Su Yang also knew that she was very famous. She refused to take medicine for fear of accidents and died soon. When Sue died, Emperor Yangdi said to the near minister, "If Sue doesn't die, the country will perish." . It can be seen that he is ready to kill Sue. Among the emperors and generals of past dynasties, only Niu Hong and Yuwen Shu, who are good at preserving our sanity, have always been trusted by Yang Guang.

Due to Yang-ti's rejection and slaughter of the old officials in the north, the forces of the old officials in the north, mainly the Guanlong Group, which Wendi relied on, eventually split and formed the main force against Sui. First of all, Yang Xuangan, the son of Su Yang and the leader of Guanlong Group, rose up against Yang Di. Most of the people who participated in the rebellion were dignitaries since Wei and Jin Dynasties.

Although the rebellion in Yang Xuangan was suppressed, the influence of Guanlong Group has not been eliminated. Shi Biao, who once worked in Yang Xuangan, became famous all over the world after leading the Wagang Uprising. Counting the ten deadly sins of Emperor Yang Di was a heavy blow to Emperor Yang Di.

Later, Li Yuan, a member of Guanlong Group, rose up and occupied Guanzhong, which was also related to his suspicion and exclusion by Yang Di. Yang Di knew that most of the northern ministers had defected, and the north had no place, so he had to flee to Jiangdu, his base, and tried to survive there, but the north refused to work for him, so Yu Wenhuaji and other generals took the opportunity to launch a coup in Jiangdu and killed the emperor Yang Di.

Emperor Taizong once pointed out: "The reason why Emperor Yangdi died was not because of the lack of Zhan Jia, but because he was heartless and rebelled under the clique." Internal rebellion and external peasant uprisings are surging, which is a combination of internal and external causes, leading to the demise of Suichuan II.

3. Yang Di reused southerners and rejected northerners because he didn't trust the old ministers of the first emperor and those who supported Prince Yong Yang. Therefore, after he became emperor, he recruited new people four times in a row in five years, which reflected his eagerness to cultivate the mood of the power group loyal to him. Since I don't trust the old minister in the north, I can only rely on the old minister in the south. And this is related to his past history.

In 588, he served as Marshal of the March, commanding the Eighth Route Army to attack Chen with * * * 5 1.8 million people. In the second year, Jiankang was occupied, defeated and surrendered. As well as Chen Ping, a murderer, and Shi Wenqing, an official in Xiangzhou. , are very popular; If you seal the state treasury, you will get nothing, and the world will be called virtuous. Later, he served as the general manager of Yangzhou, the capital of Zhenjiang. Most of the former generals, Chen, were interested in it, and many people were reused and became confidants.

However, most of these confidants were Nuo Nuo, who tried to please others, but failed. This is because Emperor Yang Di was a tyrant who obeyed me but betrayed me. Few people dare to insist on right and wrong in front of him, most of them are flattering and watching his face act. His confidant ministers Yu Shiqi, Pei Yun and Yuan Chong are all such people.

Yu Shiqi, a native of Yuyao, Huiji, was originally an official of the State of Chen. Chen was transferred back to Sui because he was knowledgeable and good at being a grass official. Yang Di valued his talent and put him in charge of state affairs. At that time, the world was in chaos, and the founding fathers of the Sui Dynasty were killed one after another. The World Foundation was shocked and hurt itself. Although it lived near the stone, it only did so under the order of Emperor Yang. Although there were more rebellions, many counties were occupied. Because Yang-ti was tired of hearing the news, he didn't tell the truth of the defeat, so the outside world changed and Yang-ti didn't know much about it. It is precisely because Shijishan pondered Yang-ti's love and hate that his words were smoother. Emperor Yang-ti was so close to him that no courtier could compare with him (Biography of Yu Shi in the Book of Jin).

Pei Yun is a happy person in Hedong, but three generations of generations of officials, Chen disappeared when he arrived in Jin State, and the rulers of Jin State also regarded him as a southerner. The nature of the dispute is clear, and there are officials and talents. He has served as the secretariat of Han Dynasty and Zhidizhou, all of whom are famous for their political achievements. Emperor Yang Di appreciated his talents and made full use of them. He was appointed as the suggestion and was in charge of secrets together with Historical Records and others. He is good at serving the will of Emperor Yang-ti, and he will bend the law to suit his feelings and urge him to sin. Whoever wants to forgive will be given a lighter punishment and released.

When the rebellion in Yang Xuangan was suppressed, Emperor Yang Di sent him to punish his henchmen, saying, "The call of Xuangan has as many as 100,000 followers, which shows that if there are not too many people in the world, they will gather into thieves. If you don't kill them all, you can't; Punish future generations. " Yun strictly abides by the rule of law, killing tens of thousands of people and plundering their homes (The Book of Jin Pei Yun Chuan).

Yuan Chongyuan was originally a servant of Chen Junyang and later lived in Danyang. He used to be an official of Chen, but Chen disappeared in Sui Dynasty. He is good at Taoism and knows a lot about astrology, so he can be appointed as a secretary order for flattering Emperor Yang. Every time Yang-ti conquered, he knew about it and used astrology to follow his will. Therefore, Yang-ti gave him a great reward and showed great intimacy (Yuan Jin Shu Chong Chuan).

Yu Shiqi, Pei Yun, Yuan Chong, etc. Asserting to others really helps others to do evil, which contributes to the increase of atrocities in Yang Di. Yang-ti is such a person, and so are the ministers he relies on. How can he be invincible?

It is the inevitable result of Yang-ti's extremely inflated selfish desire to kill his brother Tu. He is also a suspicious despot. He can't have the mind and ingenuity of Emperor Taizong to turn the enemy into his own use. He can only refuse all the former emperors who supported the Prince and the old ministers of Yong Yang School. In addition, he was so cruel to the people, so he continued to expand and strengthen the hostile forces and merged into an unstoppable flood of rebellion. When he fled to Jiangdu, he felt that the end was coming. Once, he said to Xiao with a mirror: "Good head and neck, I don't know who should cut it!" " Yang Guangqiang was shocked by Hou Yaozong and said with a smile: "I value this world, so what about beheading in the future!"

But when the rebel general tried to behead him, the tyrant became a coward and he trembled. Afraid of being killed by a knife, he was asked to drink poisonous wine. The rebels did not agree, so they took themselves naked in front of the rebels and begged to be hanged, so the heinous thief hanged himself.
