Nanjing Agricultural University has specialties such as agronomy, seed science and engineering, intelligent agriculture, plant protection, agricultural resources and environment, environmental engineering, environmental science, ecology, traditional Chinese medicine, landscape architecture, horticulture, landscape architecture, and facility agriculture science and engineering.

Nanjing Agricultural University, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It ranks among the first-class discipline construction universities in the world and is an innovative platform for 21,985 engineering advantage disciplines.

The school's predecessor can be traced back to Sanjiang Normal School 1902 Department of Agricultural Natural History and Jinling University 19 14 Department of Agricultural Science.

1952, when the departments of colleges and universities in China were adjusted, some departments of Nanjing University Agricultural College, Jinling University Agricultural College and Zhejiang University Agricultural College merged to form Nanjing Agricultural College.

From 65438 to 0972, the school moved to Yangzhou and merged with Subei Agricultural College to form Jiangsu Agricultural College. 1979 moved back to Nanjing to restore Nanjing Agricultural College. 1984 was renamed Nanjing Agricultural University, and was transferred from the Ministry of Agriculture to the Ministry of Education in 2000.

As of March, 20021,the school has Wei Gang Campus, Pukou Campus and Baima Teaching and Research Base, with a total area of 9 square kilometers and a construction area of 740,000 square meters.

Academic construction:

As of March 20 15, the school has established "National College Students' Cultural Quality Education Base", "National Basic Science Research and Teaching Talents Training Base", "National Life Science and Technology Talents Training Base" and National Plant Production and Animal Science Experimental Teaching Center, which is one of the first universities to pass the excellent evaluation of undergraduate teaching in universities nationwide.

In Wu Shulian's 20 14 ranking of Chinese universities, Nanjing Agricultural University ranks 39th in comprehensive strength; Nanjing Agricultural University ranks 47th in the list of Chinese universities in China Alumni Association Network 20 14.

In the ranking of universities in Chinese mainland and Taiwan Province, China released on 20 13, it ranks 77th in Chinese mainland University and 47th in Chinese mainland.

As of March, 20 15, the school has maintained the relationship of joint student training, academic exchange and scientific research cooperation with more than 50 universities and research institutions in more than 30 countries and regions.
