It's still quite powerful. Pingyang Medical University is located in the downtown area of Pyongyang, North Korea. It was founded in 1948 and developed from the related disciplines of traditional Chinese medicine in Kim Il Sung University. It is one of the most famous medical universities in North Korea. President Kim Il Sung attached great importance to the development of medicine, and took measures to separate the medical department of Kim Il Sung University and set up Pyongyang Medical University, equipped with complete sets of equipment needed for teaching.
