University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee was founded in 1956 with a long history of over 150 years. It is a member of the Wisconsin State University system in the United States, and Madison University is the only public university in the system that has two ownership rights to award doctoral degrees.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Campus is located on the lakeside of Michigan and consists of 1 1 colleges. It has more than 80 bachelor's degree teaching plans, 47 master's degree teaching plans and 17 doctoral degree teaching plans.

The nine colleges under the university are Health College, Architecture and Urban Planning College, Art College, Business Administration College, Education College, Engineering and Applied Science College and Humanities College.
