Undergraduate medical tuition is NZ $20,000 per year. By the sophomore year, the majors of surgery, dentistry, pharmacy, clinical medicine and physiotherapy will choose 10 of all foreign students at most to continue their later courses.

However, the majors of anatomy, biochemistry, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, neuroscience, physiology and pharmacology can continue their sophomore year and beyond. All majors have at least 4 years of schooling.
