Fudan Poetry Soul is a bronze sculpture. Its main body is two stacks of books, more than two meters long and 70 centimeters high. This is a very artistic sculpture. It was donated by alumni of Fudan Poetry Society during the centenary celebration of Fudan University. It is also an independent work of art in itself. Its poetic quietness contains boldness and strength, while its implicit quietness embodies passion and tolerance, which brings more humanistic atmosphere and poetry to Fudan, a famous university.

The inscription on the sculpture is incisive and elegant, just one hundred words. The history and origin of Fudan Poetry Society, the formation of Fudan Poetry School, and the poet's feelings and expectations for his alma mater are all displayed in it. The inscription reads: Dan Fudan, Sun Moonlight, Fudan Poetry Society was founded on May 27th, 198 1. The poetry collections Farmland, The Voice and Staryu originated from Sun River in the1940s, forming Fudan Poetry School. On the centennial anniversary, poets meet again, thanking our alma mater, our erudition, our poetic spirit and our determination. We specially launched the bronze sculpture "Fudan Poetry Soul". May the poetic soul of my alma mater live forever.

In summer, the lotus in Yanyuan pond gradually changes from pink to light orange. The cornerstone, century stone and century clock of Jiangwan Campus of Fudan University enjoy tranquility in the shade of trees. The word sunrise means sunrise in the garden. There are always people sitting or lying on the mound in Sunrise Garden, as if waiting for cherry blossoms to bloom. In April, the hillside is covered with pink petals.
