National ranking of Beijing Union University
Beijing Union University ranks 248th in China. Beijing Union University is a comprehensive university in Beijing approved by the Ministry of Education 1985. Its predecessor was 1978, 36 university branches founded by Tsinghua University and Peking University.

The school has two advanced disciplines in Beijing: Marxist theory, archaeology, China history, geography, food science and engineering, software engineering, computer science and technology, business administration and design, nine first-class disciplines authorized by master's degrees, and 65,438 disciplines including finance, law, education, journalism and communication, cultural relics and museums, transportation, traditional Chinese medicine, accounting, tourism management, and library and information.

There are 70 undergraduate majors in the school, covering ten disciplines including economy, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, management, art and medicine. Eight undergraduate majors were approved as national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, and 14 undergraduate majors were approved as Beijing first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites.
