Xiamen University has Siming Campus, Zhangzhou Campus, Xiang 'an Campus and Malaysian Campus, with a building area of 2.42 million square meters, making it the first university in China with a cross-sea campus and the first overseas campus, and it is also recognized as one of the most beautiful university campuses in China.

Siming Campus is located under the beautiful Five Old Peaks, surrounded by mountains and seas, with beautiful scenery. The campus covers an area of more than 2,500 mu, and still retains the buildings such as Qunxian, Jiannan and Furong at the beginning of the school, which have been immersed in the historical accumulation of nearly a hundred years. Humanities and arts, social science, natural science, engineering technology and other departments collide with each other here, stirring up academics.

Zhangzhou Campus is located in China Merchants Zhangzhou Development Zone, surrounded by mountains on three sides, facing the sea in the east, and facing Siming Campus across the sea, which constitutes the unique scenery of Xiamen University. The campus covers an area of 2,726 mu, which is mainly used to run Tan Kah Kee College, establish a scientific and technological innovation platform and talent training base closely related to local industries, and carry out strong international cooperation in running schools.

Xiang 'an Campus, located at the foot of Xiangshan Mountain in Xiang 'an District, is another landmark project in the history of Xiamen University. Covering an area of 3,645 mu, the campus has gathered disciplines such as medicine and life sciences, marine and environmental ecology, new energy and new materials, aerospace and information. The South Base for the International Promotion of Chinese and the Dean College of Confucius Institute, where overseas education and continuing education flourish.
